Trust has been the foundation of Lakeside Rooms and it continues to inspire and shape the care we offer every day.” – Terri & Deb

Since 2001, Lakeside Rooms has built a leading reputation for professional and compassionate mental health care across the Gold Coast and broader communities.

Lakeside Rooms was the first multidisciplinary private mental health practice in the region. The practice was established even before Medicare funding was available for psychology services.

Lakeside Rooms offers a comprehensive range of services, including individual therapy for anxiety, depression and life transitions, couples counselling, family support, group programs, and psychological assessments. Every practitioner provides personalised care, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals within a respectful and confidential environment.

What sets Lakeside Rooms apart is its collaborative environment. While each practitioner operates independently, the supportive network within Lakeside Rooms encourages shared best practice to ensure accessible and high-quality client care.

This year, Lakeside Rooms acknowledges the many people who have been part of its journey, including clients who’ve trusted them during vulnerable moments, practitioners who’ve committed to excellence and care, and community partners who’ve strengthened collective capacity to serve those in need.

We look ahead with purpose as we continue to support the well-being of individuals, couples, and families across all stages of life. We say a big thank you for those who have been part of our story so far. We look forward to continuing to serve the Gold Coast and wider community.”
