Bond University Honours Leah Blakemore with Prestigious Psychology Award
Lakeside Rooms is proud to announce that Registered Psychologist Leah Blakemore has been awarded the Highest Performing Master of Psychology (Clinical) Student at the Faculty of Society & Design Executive Dean’s Awards held at Bond University on the Gold Coast on Wednesday, 25 June 2025.
The award, sponsored by Lakeside Rooms, recognises outstanding academic performance, clinical excellence, and commitment to professional development throughout the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program. Leah’s dedication to evidence-based practice and client-centred care distinguished her among an exceptional cohort of students.
The award was presented by Clinical Psychologist and Co-Director of Lakeside Rooms, Debbie Sabot, who acknowledged Leah’s achievement as both remarkable and inspiring.
“Leah exemplifies the future of clinical psychology— she’s intelligent, grounded, and compassionate. We’re so pleased to be supporting the next generation of psychologists through this award,” Ms. Sabot said during the ceremony.
Leah joins a growing community of emerging clinicians supported by Lakeside Rooms, a Gold Coast-based mental health practice known for its commitment to professional collaboration, client care, and the development of early-career psychologists.
