Megan is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar who works collaboratively with adults, adolescents, children, and families to create meaningful, lasting change. She brings a warm, grounded, and perceptive approach, creating a space where clients feel understood while also being gently supported to move out of patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Megan works with people of all ages and backgrounds and values helping clients better understand themselves, the patterns shaping their experiences, and how these patterns show up in their lives.

Megan has particular experience supporting adults who feel overwhelmed, unsure of how to move forward, or disconnected from themselves or others. She works with a range of presentations including anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout, and relationship difficulties, and often supports individuals who feel caught in patterns they don’t fully understand - such as overthinking, emotional reactivity, avoidance, or difficulties in relationships. Megan supports clients to make sense of these patterns and develop more effective and sustainable ways of responding to challenges.

Megan’s clinical experience spans diverse settings, including Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) services, where she worked with adults navigating addiction alongside complex mental health challenges. In this role, she facilitated group-based relapse prevention programs and provided individual therapy, integrating evidence-based approaches with compassionate, practical support to promote meaningful, long-term change.

For the past three years, Megan has also been an active team member in the Family Interaction Program, at Griffith University working with caregivers and children to strengthen relationships and reduce emotional and behavioural stress. She delivers hands-on, evidence-informed parenting and child behavioural interventions, particularly with families navigating aggression, emotional overwhelm, and disconnection. Her work in this space is grounded in the belief that empowered caregivers create empowered children.

Across her clinical training and roles, Megan brings a curious and thoughtful approach, with a focus on understanding the underlying patterns that drive behaviour and distress, rather than just treating the symptoms. Her work is grounded in a formulation-driven and integrative approach, and is tailored to each person she works with.

Megan is known for balancing empathy with clear and practical guidance to support clients in building insight and meaningful change. She aims to create a space where clients feel able to make sense of their experiences and move forward in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who they are.
